Is A Star English free?
Yes. A Star English is completely free to download and play, with no ads. You can start learning straight away without creating an account.
Do I need an account?
No account is required to play. You can use the app as a guest. Creating a free account lets you save your progress, keep your streak, and sync across devices.
What ages is it for?
A Star English is designed for primary and secondary students. The five word worlds range from Year 1 sight words all the way to Year 12 champion vocabulary, so it grows with the learner.
How does the Spelling Bee work?
The app reads a word aloud (with an optional slow mode), and the learner types the correct spelling. Words are grouped into difficulty levels, and you earn points and streaks for correct answers.
Who is Benny the Bee?
Benny is the friendly bee mascot and the face of the AI Tutor. Benny can explain word meanings, give examples, and answer English questions in a kind, encouraging way.
How do I restore or sync my progress?
Sign in with the same free account on each device. Your XP, streaks, achievements and mastered words sync automatically through the cloud.
