Our commitment

A Star English is built for English learners of all ages, so privacy and safety come first. We collect as little information as possible and never sell personal data to anyone.

Using the app without an account

You can use A Star English as a guest without creating an account or providing any personal information. In guest mode, your progress is stored only on your device.

Information we collect with an account

If you choose to create a free account, we collect an email address and a display name so we can save your progress and show you on leaderboards. We also store learning data such as XP, streaks, achievements, and which words you have mastered.

Authentication and data storage are handled securely through Supabase.

No advertising

A Star English does not show ads and does not include third-party advertising trackers.

Keeping data minimal

We collect only the information needed to run the app, and no more. If you are setting up an account on someone else’s behalf, we recommend helping them manage it.

Deleting your data

You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@astarlearner.com.
